700 K Street is a JLL property in downtown Washington, D.C. that prides itself on offering buyers with working spaces that are cutting edge in design with high end services.

As the lead UI/UX designer for 700 K Street, I was responsible for coming up with the look and feel for the overall site based off of the branding which was conceived by Will Dove. I was also responsible for taking the lead on wireframing and tackling not only what the flow of the site should be for the user but for coming up with elegant interactions that matched with the branding.

P.A.W — puppies at work — is an internal experiment focusing on dogs in the office environment. With this website and a wearable device called "Kibble", you'll never lose sight of your furry friend ever again! As the lead designer on this project, I was in charge of branding for P.A.W., as well as producing wireframes for the site. Other obligations included custom illustrations and photography as means to carry out imagery for the site. I worked closely with our IA/UX lead and developer lead to assure quality experiences for users.

Service Year is a platform that allows people from all over the United States to seek opportunities to perform a year of service to do good for a community. As one of the lead designers, it is my responsibility to help solve IA/UX problems to assure user experience is enjoyable while coming up with elegant design solutions.

A campaign for Sheetz — a large chain of convenience stores — Smoothie Smackdown was a head-to-head competition between two new smoothie flavors: Bubblegum and Cotton Candy! Smoothie Smackdown allowed Sheetz lovers to vote online and through social media to decide which of the two smoothie flavors would end up on the menu across all Sheetz locations. As lead designer, I was responsible for creating an identity for the campaign and taking charge of visual direction for the site experience.

I teamed up with the lead strategist of the project and the IA/UX lead to come up with personas that would best match Sheetz's audience. From there, I took the lead on wireframing the experience for both desktop and mobile. When getting into the design phase, I worked heavily with the lead front-end developer to create dynamic animations for a more memorable experience, and to assure design quality would be maintained while still being fun.

Another lively component of the campaign was to create printed collateral that would be used as cup covers across all stores and develop digital screens for their ordering systems.

Sleep.org is a site where people can learn the effects sleep can have on their health. Powered by the National Sleep Foundation, which focuses on educating the public on sleep, they wanted to create a platform where users were able to find their sleep persona to gain tips and tricks to better their sleep health. As the lead designer on the project, I took charge in the branding and visual styles for sleep.org.

When presented with a branding and identity challenge, I look to customize existing typography or creating a logo type that is entirely custom.

As the head designer for Mobile Future — an association that focuses on educating the public regarding spectrum and mobile data — I worked with the project manager and creative director to concept infographic centric solutions to current events and data brought by the client.
