Sarah Sugarman

Hailing from upstate New York, I am a designer and self-taught photographer who loves creating beautiful things that make people happy. I graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in Graphic Design from the School of Design, with a minor in Japanese. During the summer of 2010, I studied abroad in Kanazawa, Japan which became a huge turning point in my life, heavily influencing my personal design and photography aesthetic. 

When I'm not designing, you can find me photographing friends from around the world, wearing costumes they've made from scratch, finding the next exciting food adventure in the metro D.C. area, or vicariously living through other people's dogs. 

As a creative person, I believe there are no limits to what you can do. My motto is that if you want to do something, then do it! I strive to seek new opportunities no matter how large and intimidating they may be.
